Jesus' Name" Ministries is in charge of the music. .Kay and Julie Fincher attended the Women of Faith Conference in Atlanta the weekend of August 11 and 12. .Congratulations to John and Marge Crouch who celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary last weekend. A beautiful tropical flower arrangement was placed in the church in honor of their anniversary. . The youth of Tignall Baptist Church will be having a "Back to School Bash" at the pool and home of Danny and Tammy Price on September 9 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. If you plan to attend please contact Ann Harrison, Allison Rogers, or Carol McTier. .Sunday dinner guests of Mary Ann Williams and Kason Bradley were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Grimes of Elberton and Mr. and Mrs. Todd Bradley. Peggy Ware visited with them on Sunday afternoon. .Kay Tyler spent the weekend with her son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Tyler, Jordan, Caleb, and Sydney, in Hoschton. She attended church with them at the First Baptist Church of Winder and then visited with Ruth Dunaway in Winder. .Frances Johnson of North Augusta, S.C., visited Sunday afternoon with Sara Frances Henderson and Pat Mack. .Billie Ann Smith and daughter, Rischa Heape, and grandson, Kolby, of Lyn Haven, Fla., spent a few days last week in the mountains. .The Walker family reunion was held last Sunday at Fishing Creek Baptist Church. There were about 50 people attending this reunion. Roger Walker told me a few of the out-oftown family members who attended and they were Gwin and Cliffy Ware of Evans; Dr. Kenneth Walker of Atlanta; Dr. Burgess Walker and wife Pat of St. Simons. .Members of the Wilkes County Baptist Church enjoyed a trip to Athens Saturday night for an activity of bowling and eating dinner at the Cracker Barrel. .Visiting with Albert and Eudora Huyck Saturday were Kenneth and Susie Huyck, Elizabeth and Andrew of Greenville, S.C.; and Charles Huyck of Fernandina Beach, Fla. .Myrline Thornton visited with her daughter and her husband, Rudy and Mary Jacobs, in Monticello August 8-12. .We extend sincere sympathy to Rick Waters (postmaster of Tignall.) His father, Bill Waters, passed away in Ocala, Fla., last week. Sympathy is also extended to the family of Plina Echols Mays, sister of Martin Echols and Oleta McAvoy; and to Rev. and Mrs. Donnie Berry for the death of Chris Berry's brother, Albert Perman of California.
