Dr. and Mrs. Dupree were in North Carolina visiting their son and his family. .Col. and Mrs. Terry Boswell of Claremore, Oklahoma, visited Mrs. Jenelle Newsome Monday and Tuesday en route to Brunswick and on to Macon to visit their son. .Bobbi Thornton of Washington visited Miss Grace Dunaway and Alex Dunaway several times last week. G.B. Newsome visited Alex during the week. .Sara Huff and Linda Standard made a trip to Ft. Gordon Tuesday for Sara to fillan appointment. .Peyton Standard of Lexington, S.C., visited his grandparents, Linda and Keith Standard, several days last week. .Sara Huff, Linda Standard, Cassie Goldman, and Bryson visited Mrs. Helen Miller Saturday in Washington. .Russell Goldman of Doraville spent Sunday with his mother, Sara Huff. Russell is so faithful to come home on Sundays so that he can be the pianist for Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He, Sara, Cassie and Bryson enjoyed dinner with the Keith Standards Sunday. .We are sorry to hear of the firethat damaged Amanda (Garrard) Hiland's home last week. I don't know the details but I'm sure the family can use some help. To me, a fireis the next thing to losing a life. .G.B. and I had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wallace Sunday. We made a trip to Augusta and North Augusta later in the day. G.B. visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Charping Sunday afternoon. .A cute dog has taken up with our dog Henry and we would like to know if it belongs to you.
