Engaged couple treated to Pig Pickin', shower
The home of John Harvey and Laverne Edwards was the scene of a Pig Pickin' and miscellaneous shower honoring engaged couple, Samantha Armour and Will Callaway, on Saturday evening, August 11.
In honor of the occasion the brideelect was presented a corsage featuring an "I'm Getting Married" Pouff Doll adorned with colorful ribbons to complement her green sundress.
The party was held outdoors where tables, covered in white, held raffia-tied Mason jars filled with colorful Black-eyed Susans, daisies, zinnias and zebra grass.
A delicious buffet included the pig and stew with all the trimmings, beer, wine, bottled water and tea.
The hosts presented the couple a wine set.
More than 60 guests attended and included the bride-elect's parents, Greg and Angela Armour, and grandparents, Buck and Linda Echols and Jack and Rubye Armour; the prospective bridegroom's father, W. David Callaway, and grandmother, Betty Blackmon.
