Congressman Paul Broun has announced the opening of a new district officein Columbia County to serve the residents of the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). The officeis located in Evans, Georgia, at 4246 Washington Road, Suite 6. The phone numbers for constituents wishing to contact the officeis 706- 447-3857.

Broun announced the opening locally during a brief stop in Washington to speak with friends and community leaders.

"I am excited to announce that our Evans/Augusta district officeis open and ready to assist residents of the CSRA," said Broun. "I have been told by longtime local residents that this is the first time a Congressional officehas ever been located in Columbia County. I am honored to be able to bring this officeto Columbia County on behalf of the residents of Evans, Augusta and the Central Savannah River Area, and I encourage people needing assistance with the federal government to contact us."

The Evans/Augusta District Officeis open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. It will serve residents of Wilkes, Columbia, Elbert, Lincoln, McDuffie, and Richmond Counties.

Congressman Broun will soon announce the opening of two additional district officesto be based in Toccoa and Athens.
