The Wills Memorial Hospital Foundation awarded the Rhodes Scholarship recently to Amanda Echols and Lauren McAvoy. Both Wills Memorial employees are pursuing advanced education, with Echols pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, S.C., and McAvoy studying radiology technology at Athens Tech.
