Washington Rotarians Donnie Smith and Buddy Lindsey are preparing to host and play in the club's annual golf tournament Nov. 23. The Washington Rotary Club will host a Thanksgiving Golf Tournament Friday, November 23, "the day after Thanksgiving while the women are out shopping," club president Paula Stevens said.

The annual tourney, at the WashingtonWilkes Country Club, is a benefit for local Rotary scholarships.

The $60-per-player tournament will be a three-man scramble with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Lunch is included.
