Drew and Beth Lamar were honored at a baby shower at their home in Grovetown on Saturday, October 6. Hosts for the occasion were Eric and Tina Grunfelder of Evans.

In honor of the occasion Mr. Lamar was presented a pin that read "Dad-to-be".

A clothesline made of ribbon and miniature clothespins in pink and blue was used across the mantle to hold baby clothes, bibs and hats.

For dinner, guests were invited to indulge in a low country boil of shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, a vegetable tray, fruit tray, nuts, mints and tea. Two cakes were served, one chocolate with strawberries and the other an ice cream cake decorated for baby. The tables, covered in red and white checked cloths, held the assortment of food and gifts.

The hosts presented the expectant parents with an assortment of gifts from their registry.

Twenty-six guests were invited.
