In broad daylight Monday, this coven of wise women strolled and cackled their way around Washington, making scary stops around The Square at The Talk of the Town and at the Chamber of Commerce. They were seen heading down South Alexander Avenue, scaring little children along the way, to a destination that remains unknown. It was enough to make a black cat howl, witnesses say.
