The Young at Heart Club of the First United Methodist Church enjoyed a leaf trip to Highlands, N.C., Thursday, October 25.

The group stopped for breakfast in Elberton before continuing to the mountains. Lunch was enjoyed at Fireside Restaurant in Highlands.

After touring in the area and enjoying the beautiful colors, the travelers headed home by way of Rabun Gap for a stop to purchase apples and other produce.

On the trip were Gale Seibert, Adelaide Lindsey, Wanda White, Wilma Bunch, Sue and Hugh Warren, and Lewis and Ann Cook.
