The upset bug finally took a week off in the South except for biting two top ten teams from the State of Florida. There were some interesting quotes by players and coaches after the big games last week. Old Claude has compiled some of the best for your enjoyment.

"I can't tell you how much fun it was in the locker room and I wish everybody could have seen it." Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt following the Dawgs upset over nationally number nine Florida.

"It hurts a lot." Florida QB Tim Tebow following Georgia's third win over the Gators since 1990. Tebow was probably referring to his injured shoulder as well as the loss.

"It was a lot of pressure. I was sweating on the bus just thinking about it." Clemson RB James Davis who had guaranteed a Tiger win over Maryland.

"He's going to feel like a dummy after the game." Lance Ball, Maryland RB.

"He's taking us all to Wild Wings Tuesday night." Clemson center Thomas Austin referring to James Davis and the offensive line after the Tigers thumped Maryland 30-17 and Davis ran for 129 yards.

"This is hard to accept after we came back like we did." South Carolina's Steve Spurrier following the Gamecocks three point loss in overtime to Tennessee. Carolina had erased a 21 point deficitbefore losing 27-24.

"You look for big plays in all areas - special teams, offense, and defense..." Wake Forest Head Coach Jim Grobe after the Deacons pounded North Carolina 37-10. Wake continues to dominate the State. This was their 7th consecutive win over North Carolina based schools.

"I told them if they didn't get a celebration penalty after their first score, all of them would be doing early morning runs." - Georgia Coach Mark Richt after the entire team ran onto the field after the Dawgs' first touchdown. Two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties forced Georgia to kickoff from its 7 1/2 yard line.

"No class. They acted like they have never been in that situation before." - Florida LB Brandon Spikes. Don't be too hard on them Brandon, most of these Dawgs have never beaten Florida.

This week's slate of games is exciting! Conference championships, bowl bids and maybe a trip to the National Championship game are at stake. Here's how I think things will shake-out:
