Danner explains about long-term care

Caroline Danner, Community Relations Coordinator for the Wilkes Health Care Center, was the guest speaker at the regular meeting of the Washington Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, November 6. Danner's presentation was titled "Long Term Care - What It Means Today." She discussed the operation and admittance procedure of the 47-bed, 15-room center and told members that the center was certified as a hospice care facility and that they were in the process of expanding their rehabilitation capabilities working closely with Wills Memorial Hospital. Kiwanis President Bes Moore was the program host for the day.
