Wilkes County 4-H has adopted Harpers Personal Care Home in Washington and celebrates monthly birthdays with a cake and gifts each month. 4-H'ers sing and visit with the residents. Also once a month they play bingo with the residents. During the month of October the Wilkes County 4-H Council officersand board of directors held a Halloween party for the residents. The 4-H'ers dressed up and treated the residents with goodie bags that each contained a pen, pad, and cookies that they had baked. They then played bingo with the residents.
