Mr. and Mrs. L. Dan Coxwell Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Leigh, to Herchell Lee Evans Dacula, son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Edwards of Lexington.

Jessica Leigh Coxwell Herchell Lee Evans The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Douthit Moon and the late Grady A. Moon of Canon and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis B. Coxwell Warrenton.

She is a l998 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens where she earned a Bachelor Early Childhood Education. Miss Coxwell is presently employed by Gwinnett County Schools a second grade teacher at Shiloh Elementary in Snellville.

Mr. Evans is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herchell Chapman of Williamson, W.Va.

He is a l997 graduate of Tug Valley High School in Naugatuck, W.Va., and plans to graduate March, 2008, from Shorter College in Rome with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Mr. Evans is employed by CCS Medical in Lawrenceville as an account executive.

An April wedding is planned at the First Baptist Church of Washington.
