Trey Blackmon celebrates first birthday Nov. 15
Trey Blackmon, son of Bubba and Becky Blackmon who have recently moved to Washington from Newnan, celebrated his first birthday on November 15.
Trey enjoyed a celebration on November 10 with a host of family members at B.T. Brown Reservoir Park in Newnan. A fishtheme celebrated the birthday and Trey's vanilla birthday cake was topped with fish. It was enjoyed with chocolate and vanilla ice cream and beverages. In addition to the fish-theme cake, Trey was treated to the family's traditional bear cake, his own personal cake made by his maternal grandmother, Kay Roach of Quincy, Fla. Goody bags were given as favors.
Celebrating with Trey and his parents were his grandparents, Harris and Glenda Blackmon of Washington, and Mickey and Kay Roach of Quincy, Fla.; Wayne and Susan Hisaw of Martinez; Scott and Ellen Watson, Sarah and Grace, of Quincy, Fla.; and a number of uncles, aunts, and cousins from the Newnan area.
Trey was treated to a family party on his birthday at the home of his paternal grandparents, Harris and Glenda Blackmon on North Alexander Avenue. A delicious assortment of desserts including Trey's small round vanilla cake, roasted pecans, lemon squares and ice cream were served with assorted beverages. Joining Trey, his parents and grandparents for the celebration were Wayne and Susan Hisaw of Martinez; Norma Alice Wallace, and Mark and Emilie Waters.
