The regular meeting of the Tignall City Council was held at 7 p.m. on November 14. Those present were Mayor Richard Gammon; Council members Nobie Keener, Leon Aycock, Albert Huyck, and Tom Jackson. City Clerks Linda Daniel and Elaine Jackson, along with Clyde Davis from the water department attended. City Attorney Michael Horgan was present.

Guests from the Tignall Homemakers Club were Mary Webster, Louise Harper, Linda Burns, Celeste Adams, Sophia Bamford, and Joan Baker.

Linda Burns, speaking for the Tignall Homemakers Club, thanked the council for the use of the library for their meetings. Concerns were expressed of the need for a new roof and the need to relocate the rest room. Council decided to put out bids for the roof and do the rest room later.

Presented by Larry Fort was a follow up on the debris problem. It was decided that letters and pictures will be sent out. Also a big concern is the need for everyone to conserve water. Letters will be sent with water bills outlining restrictions.

After the next council meeting on December 12, the annual dinner for the firemen will be held.
