Susie Walton was guest of honor at a surprise 60th birthday celebration on November 10 at Third Shiloh Missionary Center given by her husband, Rev. Robert Walton, and daughters, Hermecender Walton Crawford of Augusta and Cynthia Walton Cleveland of Stone Mountain.

The center was beautifully decorated with blue and silver cloths and centerpieces of glass bowls filled with silver confetti and Hershey's Kisses.

Mrs. Walton's niece, Crissa Clark of Lithonia, decorated for the event and also served as hostess.

Guests enjoyed a buffet of tossed salad, green beans, scalloped potatoes, glazed ham, chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, rolls, birthday cake and ice cream, catered by family friend, Sharon Swanigan of Hephzibah.

During dinner a power point presentation of Mrs. Walton from childhood to the present was shown.

Tributes were given by family and friends.

Each guest filled out a message card for Mrs. Walton to enjoy after the event.

Ninety-fiveguests were in attendance from Washington, Lincolnton, Atlanta, Elberton, Greensboro, Augusta and South Carolina. All of Mrs. Walton's siblings were in attendance with the exception of two sisters from New York who sent flowers and greetings which were deeply appreciated along with all the other birthday wishes.
