Flint Hill Baptist Church will celebrate its usher board anniversary Sunday, January 7, 11:45 a.m., during the morning worship service. The United Community Awareness Program (UCAP) will have its annual prayer breakfast January 13, 8:30 a.m., at the Third Shiloh Building, 219 McLendon Drive. The Old School Reunion will meet Saturday, January 13, 11:30 a.m., at the Third Shiloh Building, Washington. Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Deacon Board will had its annual program January 21, 4 p.m., with Rev. R.L. Reynolds of New Salem Baptist Church as the guest speaker.

The First United Methodist Church will host a scrapbooking workshop in the fellowship hall on Saturday, January 6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with lunch included. Cost is $20 for the day or $2.50 per hour. Amy Johnston, a Creative Memories Consultant, will lead the sessions and will have tools and idea books for participants to use.
