We had a good week, hope you did. The weather was pretty good, with the exception of the threat of tornados Friday and then today, Sunday, it is raining again. I love the rain and the sunshine, but I don't like the wind. I love to get in my car and go somewhere in the rain if it's not raining too hard. Have you ever noticed that there is more traffic on the roads when it is raining? Our cable was out the whole weekend which is nothing unusual and just when you want to watch something special on television. The cable goes out and you watch videos over for the umpteenth time. J.W. and I also read a lot. .. Today, Sunday, I got up and cooked breakfast, the only morning of the week that I do because J.W. gets him a biscuit at the store or at the café all the other mornings. Then I went to Sunday School and church at Sardis Baptist Church. Tommy Harwell was guest speaker this morning. He brought a good and informative message on witnessing. When I got home I warmed up the leftover grits from breakfast, added some cheese to them, warmed up microwavable soup and had leftover Christmas fruitcake for lunch. ..Our prayers are with Mrs. Annie Blanche Vaughn who is back in Wills Memorial Hospital for the second time with one of those many things that is going around. ..Our prayers are for Mrs. Elizabeth Smith who is in the intensive care unit of Wills Memorial Hospital at this writing on Sunday, January 7.
