Thomas Jeffery Moore

Funeral services for Thomas Jeffery Moore, 42, of Crawfordville, were held Friday, January 5, 2007, at the Raytown United Methodist Church with Rev. Wade Palmer officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. He died January 3.

Mr. Moore was the son of Clarence Nolan Moore and the late Doris Tiller Moore. He was born in Hart County and was a truck driver and member of the Raytown United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Taliaferro County Fire Department.

Survivors include his son, Matthew Moore, Raytown; daughters, Jessica Wright, Washington, Holley Wilkerson, Raytown, and Cindy Yearwood and her husband Bryan, Raytown; his father and stepmother, Clarence Nolan Moore and Jean Moore, Raytown; sisters, Andrea Gross, Raytown, and Melody Thornton, Washington; a brother, Clarence Nolan Moore Jr., Valdosta; and a grandson, Tyson Yearwood.

Pallbearers included Mike Boatwright, Randy Boatwright, Page Walker, Nathan Phelps, Jonathan Bryant, and Ashley Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Taliaferro County Fire Department, James Childers, Jesse Moore, Gene Moore, Marvin Moore, and Marc Richards.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Taliaferro County Fire Department, Raytown United Methodist Church, Raytown Baptist Church, or United Hospice and Homecare.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
