Designer introduces new line of plates
Rosemary Hopkins (right) took samples of her newly-marketed decorative plates to a recent meeting of the Washington Rotary Club and described the 16 different designs to members in attendance. She explained that the plates were designed by her "to show the great history of Wilkes County." The plates are expected to become heirlooms for families to pass on for generations. They are made in England of fine bone china and are "microwave friendly and dishwasher proof." Jerry Stover (left) was program chairman for the day.
