Recent holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. David McClearen were Michael McClearen of Peachtree City and Mrs. Carol McClearen of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. +Visiting New Year's Day with Mrs. Marion Newsome were Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Newsome and Anna of Martinez. +Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sparky Newsome and Molly were Lizzie Newsome and Justin Holmes of Athens and Daniel Newsome of Macon. On Saturday evening they had dinner at the Washington Jockey Club to celebrate Mr. Newsome's birthday. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Smythe Newsome and Jacqyelyn Johnson. All returned to the Newsome home in Logan Woods for dessert after dinner. +Mr. and Mrs. Tony George of Scottsdale, Ariz., have returned home from a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ed George and family. They were in Washington especially to attend the ordination service for Brian George Sunday afternoon at Carters Grove Baptist Church.
