Moss begins service as rector of Church of the Mediator here
Rev. Dr. Denise Moss has begun service as the Rector of the yoked ministries of the Episcopal Church of the Mediator in Washington and St. Alban's in Elberton. She was ordained by Bishop J. Neil Alexander on January 6.
Dr. Moss and her husband, Rev. Dr. David Moss, will be living at the Rectory in Washington soon. Her first service at the Church of the Mediator will be Sunday, January 14, at 11:15 a.m.
She served as assistant at St. Timothy's in Calhoun most recently and before that as chaplain at Georgia Tech and Georgia State University. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees at Mercer University in Atlanta. She became a Doctor of Ministry at Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanson, Ill.
