Quick work saves South Pecan home
Firefighters from Washington's Station 1 talk with a resident after saving a South Pecan Street home Saturday night. The fire started in the master bedroom of the rented house, but firefighters quickly contained the fire in that room, and worked to ensure that the fire had not spread to the attic. The rest of the house suffered smoke and heat damage, firefighters said, but was restorable. No one was injured in the fire.
