New rates necessary after abuse, misuse of lunchroom facility

Because of several complaints during the last few weeks with regard to the abuse and misuse of the Tignall lunchroom facilities, the Tignall City Council has carefully considered this matter and it is with much regret that we feel it is necessary at this time to change the rate, deposit, and cut-off time effective February 1.

The changes are as follows:

Rates - $100.00 plus a $50.00 deposit. The deposit of $50.00 shall be returned upon a clean inspection. Further, the $50.00 deposit shall be forfeited if alcohol is found on the premises and such individual renting the facility shall not be allowed rental privileges in the future.

Cut-off Time - All functions held at the lunchroom shall end at 10:00 p.m.

We continue to welcome members of our community the use of this great facility, but please, let's respect it.
