We had a good day at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday. Rev. Martin's message was from Luke 19:41-44 and he sang a special, "Three Rusty Nails," which was very touching. ..Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer and Mrs. Iris Dyson attended the program at Tignall Baptist Church Tuesday morning, then enjoyed the soup and sandwich lunch Pat Bobo and her helpers prepared. ..We are so glad Mrs. Juanita Bradford received a good report from her doctor in Augusta and also her daughter, Trudy Sutherland, received a good report from her doctor in Columbia. They both are feeling much better. ..Mrs. Juanita Bradford and Trudy Sutherland visited Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bradford in Thomson Wednesday afternoon. .. Mrs. Ricky McCarty visited Ricky's mother, Mrs. Judy Strickland, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John White, in Jackson Wednesday. ..Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer attended the WMU leadership meeting at the Georgia Baptist Association Mission Center in Washington Tuesday afternoon. ..Mr. and Mrs. Edward Branham of McCaysville made a business trip to Washington Thursday afternoon then visited briefly with Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer. ..Mrs. Virginia Witcraft of Raytown visited Mrs. Evans Davis Saturday. ..Mrs. Ricky McCarty and Mrs. Angie Strother left Thursday for a three-day business trip in Atlanta. ..Luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lance Sunday were Elizabeth Barber and Chris Conway of Athens. .. Mrs. Bill Scoggins, Hannah, Dylan, and Stephanie visited Mrs. Evans Davis Sunday afternoon. ..Benjamin Hodges spent Saturday night with Charlie Branham.
