Eva Mae Evans Reynolds Funeral services for Eva Mae Evans Reynolds, 79, of Crawfordville, were held Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at the Crawfordville Baptist Church with Rev. John Autry and Rev. Lem Clark officiating. Interment was in the Crawfordville Cemetery. She died January 12 in Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington. Mrs. Reynolds was a native of Taliaferro County and was the daughter of the late Shelton and Essie Rocker Evans. She and her husband lived in Pennsylvania for many years but moved back to Taliaferro County 26 years ago. She was a retired office manager of the Farm Bureau and was a member of the Crawfordville Baptist Church. She was a member of the TLC Sunday School Class of the church. Survivors include her husband, Harry J. Reynolds; two daughters, Karen Reynolds, New York City, Beverly Reynolds Smith, Beech Creek, Penn.; a granddaughter, Lisa Rhinehart, Walton, N.Y.; four greatgrandchildren; a brother, Jack Evans of Michigan; and a sister, Hazel Strickland, Plant City, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawfordville Cemetery Fund, Crawfordville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 24, Crawfordville 30631. Pallbearers included Bobby Moore, John Wilhelm, Billy Woodruff, Charlie Taylor, Robert Harold Kendrick, Rick Hubert, Ken Bennett, and Charles Greene.
Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
