New residents find hospitality in WIlkes County

TO THE EDITOR:

I just wanted to say thank you for entertaining me every week. My husband John and I are new to Tignall, and I look forward to reading The News-Reporter.

We lived in the Florida Keys prior to our move. Although it is sunny and warm, the people and the attitudes do not hold a candle to the way we have been treated since we have been here. I have not encountered one negative person. It seems that everyone is kind and helpful and glad to have us here.

We live on the Danburg Road (we bought Richard Smith's place) and are in the process of opening an animal sanctuary and farm where everyone can come and play.

Thank you for making us so welcome. We look forward to spending the remainder of our days in Tignall.
