Henry Franklin

Funeral services for Henry "Huckabuck" Franklin, 75, were held Saturday, January 20, 2007, at Jackson Chapel AME Church with Rev. James Lawson officiating. Interment was in the City West Cemetery. He died Wednesday, January 17, at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Franklin was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late Wade and Fannie Parks Franklin.

Survivors include an aunt, Lois Booker; and two cousins, Barbara J. Cade and Terri Graves.

Pallbearers included Kiwanis Curry, Larry Harris, Donta Hill, Amp Hearst, Patrick Norman, and Andrew Parks.

Davenport-McLendon Mortuary Inc. of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
