Elaine Johnson

Funeral services for Elaine Johnson, 53, of Sharon were held Sunday, January 28, 2007, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Sharon, with Rev. D. Burnes officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Miss Johnson was a native of Taliaferro County and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Dora Johnson. She was a 1974 graduate of Taliaferro County High School and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church where she served as assistant secretary.

Survivors include a brother, Rev. Jimmie Johnson of Desoto, Texas; three sisters, Eloise Ivey of Thomson, Bessie Blue of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mamie Lowe of Sharon.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
