It's February and I am so glad. I like this month. It's called the love month - Heart Month, Black History Month, and Valentine's Day is not far off, gentlemen. The weather has been cold. The wind has made it seem really cold. It's supposed to be 25 degrees tonight. Aren't we fortunate to have warm houses, warm clothes, warm food, and electric blankets to keep us comfortable! We should be so thankful as there are those who are less fortunate than we Americans. So count your blessings, name them one by one. ..Happy birthday to all of you celebrating February birthdays. Some that I am aware of are Chase Shelton, February 1; Ashley Burt, February 9; Terry Joyner, February 2; Montine Edwards, February 4; Donna MIller, February 5; Martha Waldrip, February 6; and Joyce Autry, February 9. ..We are glad to report that Brenda PHillips is home from the hospital. We wish her well. ..Mrs. Jenelle Newsome met her grandson and his family in Thomson Saturday evening for supper. She enjoyed seeing Anna once again. ..Cassie Goldman and Bryson spent the weekend with her mother, Deanne Johnson in Hull. They enjoyed attending church together. ..Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shank of Lexington, S.C., spent Friday and Saturday with Mrs. Dot Shank. ..Russell Goldman of Doraville spent Sunday with Mrs. Sara Huff.
