Campbell

Funeral services for Bobby "B.C." Campbell, 61, were held Saturday, February 3, 2007, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Walton officiating. He died Friday, January 26, in Aiken, S.C.

Mr. Campbell was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late Clemmon Benson and Lucy Mae Campbell. He was educated in the Wilkes County School System, graduating with the Class of 1965. He served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Freddie Ramsey Campbell; three children, Derwin Campbell, Carolyn Ferrell, and Bobby Campbell; a brother, Larry Campbell; and eight grandchildren.

Members of the Class of 1965 served as pallbearers.

Davenport & McLendon Mortuary of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
