Robert Caldwell Jones Graveside services for M/SGT Robert Caldwell Jones, 88, of Eatonton, formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., were held Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at Phillips Mill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilkes County with Rev. Robert Rayner officiating. He died February 5, at the Putnam General Hospital, Eatonton. Mr. Jones was born in Jefferson County, Ohio, and was the son of the late J.C. Jones and Della Perkins Jones. He retired from the United States Army. He was the widower of Hazel Moore Jones. Survivors include several brothers in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
