Cruisers donate to local organizations
 | | In keeping with their policy of making donations from fund-raising projects to Washington-Wilkes organizations, the Memory Lane Cruisers made several presentations during the February meeting of the club. Recipients were (l-r) Rev. Albert Huyck and Dot Harris on behalf of the Salvation Army; Manual Bailey and Bonnie Branch, the Washington-Wilkes Animal Shelter; and Lillie Crow, Mary Willis Library. The donations were presented by Joe Charping, president; and Blake Thompson, EMS. A donation was also made to the fire department but no one was able to attend the meeting. |
