Spring soccer at W-WPRD registration ends March 2

The spring soccer program for the Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Department got underway this week with registration beginning February 5.

The final deadline for registration is March 2.The fee for the program is $30 for the first child and $25 for the second child. No late sign-ups will be accepted.

Games will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Satur- days. Children must be age 5 before April 1, 2007, in order to participate.

There will be four age groups: 5- 6 years old; 7-8 years old; 9-11 years old; and 12-15 years old.

Practice will begin the week of March 5 and games will begin the week of March 26. A practice and game schedule will be provided at the first practice.
