Army Staff Sgt. Tamarcus T. Norman participated in supporting the efforts for the 2007 All-American Bowl all-star high school football game played at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The U.S. Army-sponsored event brought in the best football talent from across the nation in an East versus West contest in front of a nationally-televised audience. The Army supported many of the pregame activities.

Norman is a food service specialist assigned at Fort Lee, Petersburg, Va. He graduated in 1993 from Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and received an associate degree in 2001 from Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tenn.

He is the son of Linda Norman of Athens. His wife Shaneka is the daughter of Robert Jones of Flint Mich., and Sandra Brown of Westminster, Calif.
