Sardis Baptist Church enjoyed a special message on "An Unwavering Faith" by Tommy Harwell of Warrenton Sunday morning. Courtney Gunter played the piano with Pam Hall as music director. Children's church was held in the annex by Adriane Echols. Monica Gunter was in charge of the nursery. Prayer meeting will be held at the Echols home at 6:30 Wednesday evening. ..The prayer list is for Debra Cato, Leonard Fain, Pete Hardy, Ellie Frey, Johnny Winfrey, Mrs. Johnny Winfrey, Redford Shanks, Richard Burkett, Bill Remsen, Beth Thaxton, James Bowen, Tommy Wheatley, Thomas Wheatley, Roberta Roper, Annie Blanche Vaughn, Thelma Favor, Ralph Smith, Betsy Wynne, Pat Wynne, Becky Waters, Carla Thaxton Brown, Kathryn Padgett, Pete Poss, Thomas Bunch, Mike Webb, Stephanie Chapman, Gene Winfrey, and Mario's Baby (Christina). ..Mrs. Bobby Armour went to Quiet Oaks Nursing Home in Crawford Friday to a meeting and Mrs. Frances Fendley accompanied her to visit with Mrs. Melvie Esco. ..Rebecca Armour spent Saturday night with Mrs. Frances Fendley. ..Guests of Buck and Linda Echols Sunday were Greg and Angela Ar- mour, Samantha, Cody, and Hunter; Scott and Sissy Smith and J.T.; Richard and Lou Heard, Mattie and Hank. ..Louise Smith and Lucile Edmonds of Anderson, S.C., came over Friday to spend the weekend with their sister, Doris Walker. They went to Atlanta and spent the night and enjoyed browsing at the Mall of Georgia Saturday. Sunday Mablean Sherrer joined her sisters, Doris, Louise, and Lucile, to spend the day with another sister, Mildred Berryman in Watkinsville. ..Bonnie Boatwright spent Thursday in Bogart with her sister, Martha Jones. They went to the Cracker Barrel where they met Frankie Jones of Athens and James and Sharon Smith of Stephens for a great lunch. ..Clyde Whittington enjoyed taking Avery Hall and Zachery Frankel fishing Saturday. ..Kim Berry and Aaliya took Kaitlyn and Bryson Porter of Washington to Chuck E Cheese in Athens Saturday. ..Peggy Echols spent Sunday afternoon with her sister, Sybil Hayes, in Stephens. ..Sudie Kennedy visited Ann Williamson Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Truitt were also there visiting. ..Wilda Boatwright and Sudie Kennedy went to the Silver Leaf nursing home in Athens to visit Ralph Smith Friday. It is reported that he is doing well. ..Betty Price of Maxeys visited Sudie Kennedy Friday evening. ..Bonnie Boatwright visited Lamar and Kay Berry and Trey Sunday afternoon. Brooke Berry, Kaitlyn and Bryson spent the day with the Berrys. .. Thomas Fanning, Mary Donna Lunceford, Margaret Connor of Washington and Peggy Echols enjoyed going to the ham and egg supper at Burt's United Methodist Church Saturday evening. ..Donnie and Kris Berry and Bradley and Betty Berry enjoyed the ham and egg supper at Burt's Saturday evening. .. Sudie Kennedy visited Annie Blanche Vaughn one day during the week. Tina Boatwright also visited one day. Penny Vaughn of Martinez spent Thursday with her mother. Paul and Hannah Wright and Ava enjoyed Sunday dinner with them. ..Marion and Millie Mansfield visited Johnny and Kathryn Shedd Sunday afternoon. Gail Stewart and Angie Paul dropped in for a visit also. ..George and Ann Wideman visited Reba Hester in the assisted living home in Tignall. They also visited Patsy Epps and Kay Seymour. ..David Wideman and his friend Patricia visited George and Ann Wideman Sunday. Also visiting the Widemans were James and Mathew Wideman and Leeman and Mary Stewart. ..George and Ann Wideman visited Gene and Betty Winfrey during the week.
