Sign-up deadline nears for 2007 Little League play

This week is the last week to sign up for the 2007 season of Little League.

Sign-up is at Ashley Park in the upstairs office, Monday through Friday, 3-6:30 p.m. There will be no late fee for this week of sign-ups, just the regular price of $45.00.

Tryouts will be Saturday, March 3, beginning at 10:00 a.m. for Minor League baseball and girls softball, ages 9-12, and ending at 12:00 p.m. The Major League baseball and girls softball, ages 13-16, will begin at 12:00 and end at 2 p.m.

There will be a Little League meeting in the Ashley Park office Monday, March 5. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Little League Day plans will be discussed, as well as a lot of other items.
