NFL player to speak here
New York Giant Gerris Wilkinson, grandson of Washington's Pie Wilkinson, will speak at an assembly at Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School March 15 at 11. The 6'4" linebacker was a Georgia Tech standout and was selected in the third round of the 2006 NFL draft. He was All-Academic at Tech and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in management, and is working on a second degree.
