Diabetic group sets support meeting at hospital's library A diabetic support group will be meeting in the Wills Memorial Hospital Library at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22. Each monthly meeting will focus on a topic of interest to diabetics who wish to control their blood sugar. The March meeting will look further into diet and nutrition. Recipes for diabetic cooking will be shared. Future topics will include exercise, oral hypoglycemic drugs, and podiatry. There will be time for discussion at the end of each meeting. The meetings will be led by Anne R. Myers, RN, MSN, who will also be available for individual consultations scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays at the hospital. Group and individual consultations will be offered at no cost for diabetics and their caregivers.
