Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cook spent several days in Atlantic Beach, Fla., with granddaughters, Cathryn and Taylor Curington, while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Whittingslow were on a cruise. +Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Lindsey enjoyed the weekend at St. Simons Island in celebration of her birthday. +Joining Mr. and Mrs. Ben Echols, Dylan and Taylor, Sunday for baptismal services for Taylor at the First Baptist Church were her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Neill Echols and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Thornton Jr.; also Jessica Echols, Jeremiah Echols, Andrew Echols, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Echols and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Thornton, Laney and Jackson. After the services the family enjoyed dinner at the Washington Wilkes Country Club. +Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Winn enjoyed lunch in Athens with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Winn who were on their way home to Newton, Mass., from a visit with family in South Georgia. +Visiting during the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wells, Jillian and Joyner, were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Feigles of Riceboro and Mrs. Joey Weber of Saginaw, Mich. +Doug Pasco of Marietta enjoyed a weekend visit with his mother, Mrs. E.E. Pasco.
