Washington Hardware is 'Building in Wilkes'
Metal workers from Lamont Lannae Construction attach steel panels to the roof of Brian Denard's soon-toopen Washington Hardware. "I believe in Wilkes County, and I believe we're going to grow," he said. His new business, on Andrew Drive at Lundberg Road, will sell hardware, and electrical and plumbing supplies. A showroom fills the front of the large metal building, with warehousing and loading in the rear. "We'll be open in April," he said. "And I hope we'll do real well."
