Attendance was down a bit at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday. But anyway, we had good services. Rev. Martin preached a good message from I Corinthians 15:35-49. ..Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer visited Mr. and Mrs. Bud Spinks in Carlton Saturday morning. They all had lunch near Athens then they visited Mrs. Sue McCarty and her family in Danielsville. ..Willard Lance attended the tractor pull at Aonia Pass Saturday night. He enjoyed it and said there were many people there for the races and other events. ..Mrs. Evans Davis visited Mrs. Ruth Bell in Washington Monday. ..Charlie Branham's guest Saturday night was Benjamin Hodges. They are best buddies and like to spend a lot of time together. ..Mrs. Bill Scoggins, Hannah and Stephanie visited Mrs. Evans Davis Saturday afternoon. ..There are still a lot of folks with bad colds and other sicknesses. The weather has been so pretty and I hope everybody will soon be feeling better. ..Here's a sweet thought: A friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
