Sheila Ann Newton

Graveside services for Sheila Ann Newton, 46, of Lincolnton were held Friday, March 9, 2007, at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Martin officiating. She died Monday, March 5, at her residence.

Mrs. Newton was a native of Connersville, Ind., and had lived in Lincoln County since 1992. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Her mother was the late Marjorie Rowe Fizer.

Survivors include a daughter, Erica Newton, Tignall; father and stepmother, Arthur and Lois Fizer, Lincolnton; and a brother, Alan Fizer, Lincolnton.

Pallbearers included Alan Fizer, Mark Beebe, David Fizer, Mike Fizer, and Carl Brown.

Beggs Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
