Lucille VanDyke

Funeral services for Lucille VanDyke, 88, of Cobb County were held Thursday, March 8, 2007, in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Chaplain Ken Gross officiating. Burial was in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. She died Monday, March 5.

Mrs. VanDyke was a former resident of Washington-Wilkes. She was head cook at the Christian Youth Camp for more than 20 years. She was employed by Eastman Kodak for 10 years and was a distributor of Luzier cosmetic products for 50 years. She was a member of North Atlanta Bible Chapel Church.

Survivors include a son, Lee VanDyke, Gainesville; four daughters, Elizabeth Talley, Hiram, Phoebe Berger, Grant Bay, Ala., Priscilla Halberson, Hampton, Va., and Vanessa Dawn Davis, Atlanta; 12 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.
