Third in state

In his first year of competitive wrestling, 12-year-old Will Lawson has finished third in the state USA Wrestling novice group in the 150- pound weight class. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Lawson and is coached by Juan Ramon and Bernie Ferris.

Devvon Ferris, another seventh grader, also qualified for the state competition which was held at McEachern High School in Powder Springs on March 10.
