Gleaners class to host benefits for Cancer Soc.

The Gleaners Sunday School Class of Crawfordville Baptist Church will be hosting several special events during the next few weeks to benefit the American Cancer Society.

The first event will be a "Hotdogs and Bingo for a Cure" night in the church fellowship hall on March 17 at 6 p.m. All food and games are for donations and the prizes are great. The Jimmie Waters Brotherhood will prepare the food.

On March 21 at 6 p.m. the Gleaners will host "Supper for a Cure" in the fellowship hall. Anyone can come and eat for a donation.

An ice cream social will be held on March 25 at 5 p.m. This, too, will be a fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society.

For more information and directions to the church, interested persons should call Donna Taylor at 706-456-2992.
