A "This Is Your Life" celebration in honor of Annie "Pie" Wilkinson who has served 55 years at Wills Memorial Hospital is being planned. Anyone who wishes to make an addition to the presentation, i.e., stories involving Pie, photos, etc., is asked to contact Mandy Jackson at the hospital at 706-678-9212 before March 10. .. Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Choir will present a musical extravaganza on April 15 at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Mulberry Baptist Church will have a prayer service Sunday, April 8, 3 p.m. There will be a Country Cooking Supper at Fishing Creek Baptist Church Saturday, March 24, 6-8 p.m. Cost is $6.00 for all you can eat. All proceeds go to charity. .. New Salem Baptist Church will have a series of special services following Palm Sunday, during the week of April 2-6, 7:30 p.m. Guest preachers will be Pastors Dante Smith, Harvey Peek, Robert Walton, Samuel Duggan, and W.R. Ferrell. .. The Christian Community Choir will present "Spread the News," a musical for Easter, at Jennings Baptist Church, March 25, 3 p.m.; and Raytown Baptist Church, April 15, 3 p.m. The musical is directed by Rev. Geri Lancaster and narrated by Rev. John Autry. .. New Salem Baptist Church will have an Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 8, at 6 a.m. with Pastor Robert Crawford as the speaker. Breakfast will be served following the service. .. Jackson Chapel and Black Rock AME churches will have a pastor appreciation program on Sunday, April 22, 3 p.m. Patricia Wilder will be the speaker. Dinner will be served immediately after the service at the Third Shiloh Building. .. Cherry Grove Baptist Church will have an installation service for Pastor Charles Belton on Sunday, April 1, 3 p.m. Rev. G.L. Avery will bring the message. The Union Springs Choir will be the guest choir. .. Newtown Baptist Church will have breakfast on Easter Sunday, April 8, at 8:30 a.m. This will be followed by the morning worship service and an Easter egg hunt. .. The Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Department Fifth Annual Cheerleading Competition 2007 will be held Saturday, March 24, 11 a.m., at the WWPRD gym. Admission is $2 for adults; $1 for students; and free for children under five. .. Self-guided audio tours of Washington's historic Resthaven Cemetery are available at the Washington Historical Museum on East Robert Toombs Avenue.
