Mrs. Sara Huff has returned home after being hospitalized for several days recently. She is feeling better but not yet back to normal. Visiting Sara have been her children, Russell Goldman of Doraville; Randy Goldman of Lincolnton; her sister, Linda Standard, and grandson Peyton Standard; her cousins, Alex, Tommy and Regina Dunaway, also cousin, Billy Dunnaway of Washington; her pastor, Rev. Craig Yoshihara and former pastor, Kathy Lamon of Augusta; her friends, Connie and Misty Johnson of Lincoln County, and Sherry Newsome.

..We surely hope Sara keeps improving as she had a scare relating to heart problems. So now she is sporting a pacemaker. ..Mrs. Ruth Shank Randman of Jackson, Miss., visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shank and Hillary in Lexington, S.C. While there she attended a bridal shower for her niece, Hillary Shank of Nashville, Tenn. She also came to Washington and visited her mother, Mrs. Dot Shank. ..Daniel Standard of Rayle and Peyton Standard of Augusta visited Mr. and Mrs. Keith Standard last week. ..Cassie Goldman and Bryson Taylor spent the weekend in Hull with her mother, Deanne Johnson. ..Burt Newsome and friend, Andy Shelton, of Warren County spent the weekend at Fripp Island. ..Trudy Ingram returned home Sunday evening after a mission trip to Mexico. ..Visiting Mrs. Barbara Adams were Beverly Adams of Woodstock; Sheila and Pat Rogers of Warrenton; Tiffany Rogers, and Betty Moore. ..Mrs. Jamie Newsome and Anna of Martinez and Mrs. Trudy Annel of British Columbia, Canada, visited Mrs. Jenelle Newsome Sunday, March 10. Mrs. Annel is Charlene's mother. Visiting Mrs. Newsome on Friday, March 9, were Mr. and Mrs. David Lewis of Brunswick; Col. Terry Boswell of Claremore, Oklahoma; his son, Major Keith Boswell of Warner Robins. Dr. Tom Cofer of Aiken, S.C., visited Mrs. Newsome on Saturday, and Mrs. Charlotte Vaughn of Stockbridge spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Newsome. ..Our grandson, Tanner Barnett of Winterville, spent the weekend with G.B. and me. On Sunday afternoon I carried him home. He and his mother have both been sick with whatever is going around. G.B.'s had it and tonight I feel like I may be getting sick. I think a lot of families have suffered with viruses, sinus problems, or colds and flu recently. ..We are so sorry to hear of Ann Garrard Mansur's illness and long stay in the hospital; and also the terrible accident that claimed her husband's life. We send our love and sympathy to this family. We also pray for Ann's recovery. ..We were sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Claudelle Bonner last week. Her sister is Mrs. Hill O'Neal and her niece, Pat Lunceford Newsome Tuttle, is our neighbor. Sincere sympathy to this family. Mrs. Bonner was our neighbor on Water Street in Washington for many years. .. Sympathy to Mrs. Burnice Hobby's family. She was a nice little lady who also passed away last week. Her son, Dr. Mac Hobby, resides in Grovetown and works at Medical College of Georgia.

..Mrs. Lucille Turpin, Mrs. Lona Chesnut, and Roy Chesnut attended the memorial service for Mrs. Dorthea Turpin Saturday in Murphy, N.C. Afterwards they visited Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Davenport (Lisa Ingram) and son Tyler in Haysville, N.C. Lisa is recovering from an automobile accident. ..I visited Mrs. Carol Dragon in Augusta Wednesday and Richard and Judy Sleister in Columbia County. I cherish my friends. They are too good to me. ..Sara Huff attended a meeting at the Mary Willis Library Saturday morning for Relay for Life. She also visited me briefly. ..Our prayer concerns include Rev. Albert Huyck, Thomas Poss, Jerry Stover, Brian Henderson, Henry N. Wallace, Ann Remsen, Dorie and Grady Reed, Cehoy Spires, Agnes Smith, Oliver and Genelle Gill, Dr. Randy Clayton, Wade Palmer, Ann Garrard Mansur, Martha Drinkard, Bill Kortrey, Johnny Johnson, Pete Hardy, Jerry Robinson, Jenelle Newsome, Allen Thurmond, Carolyn Barnett, Sara Huff, Grace Dunnaway, Morrison and Priscilla Maxwell, Billy Niemann, Libby Ivey, Mary McClearen, James McClearen, Virginia McClearen, Linda Albea, Dot Shank, Ethel B. Harris, Lois South, Pete Strother, Virginia Ledbetter, Willie Ruth Freeman, our youth, our elderly, our churches, our pastors, our government local, state, and national, our bereaved, our missionaries, tornado victims, Ebenezer Baptist Church search committee, our military, Gary Rogers, Barry Bailey, Billy Bailey, Bill Mobley, Joyce Sifre, Mildred Marett, Mildred Hamilton, Mona Hall, JoAnn Webb, Warren and Lois Nunn, Mr. and Mrs. Dan McAvoy, Roberta Roper, Kathryn Padgett, Henrietta Leard, Rev.
