Ashley Branan honored at linen shower on March 10

April bride-elect Ashley Branan was feted at a linen shower at the home of Lisa Isham on North Alexander Avenue Saturday afternoon, March 10. Co-hostesses with Mrs. Isham were Darla Ward and Janet Pharr.

Miss Branan, whose marriage to Brad Sheffield will be an event of April 14, was presented a corsage of white roses with a black and white bow to complement her white blouse and black and white polka dot skirt.

A black and white theme was used in decorating and the table, covered with a black cloth, held a bridal gown centerpiece and pearl garlands. Arrangements of red spray roses were on each side of the bridal gown.

A delicious assortment of party foods and punch were served.

The hostesses presented Miss Branan breakfast trays and Vera Bradley placemats and napkins.

Special guests were Miss Branan's mother, Susan Branan, and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Sharon Sheffield of Screven. They were presented handkerchiefs made to look like bridal gowns to use for the wedding.
