Young orators get practice
Wilkes County's top orators, Milton James Jr. and Dixie Lee Trimm, (front) presented their speeches at the monthly Optimist club meeting last week. The first place boy and girl winners of the Washington-Wilkes Optimist Club oratorical contest will compete at the Zone Level on March 31 at Athens Tech. Back row l-r is L.
